Who we are

Trendly ("we", "us") provides a website builder for service businesses at usetrendly.co.uk. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. If you have questions, contact us at info@usetrendly.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Account information: your email address and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) when you sign up.
  • Business description: whatever you type when generating a site, and the resulting business name, tagline, description, services, phone number, location, and hours we generate and store on your behalf.
  • Ad account access: if you connect Meta Ads or Google Ads, we store an access token that lets our systems read your ad spend and manage campaigns on your behalf. We do not store your Meta or Google password — authentication happens directly with them.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, never your card details.
  • Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and debugging.

How we use it

  • To generate and host your website.
  • To display your ad spend and, where you've authorised it, to manage ad campaigns on Meta and Google on your behalf.
  • To process your subscription payment.
  • To send essential account and service emails.
  • To detect abuse and keep the service secure.

Your business description is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your website content. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

Ad platform data (Meta & Google)

When you connect a Meta or Google Ads account, we request permission to read your ad account's spend and performance data and, where you enable it, to create and manage campaigns. This access is used solely to provide the dashboard and campaign management features of Trendly. You can disconnect an ad account at any time from your dashboard, which revokes our access.

Where your data is stored

Account and business data is stored with Supabase (hosted in the EU). Hosting is provided by Vercel. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@usetrendly.co.uk. Deleting your account removes your site, business data, and any connected ad account tokens.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if our practices change and, for material changes, notify you by email.
